  1. Could you please so kind to add the feature to auto kill a service?

  2. This might be a possible feature that we could add. Do you have specific requirements that your looking for? We haven't been able to see an easy way to "pre-populate" a list of services that are installed on the phone at this point, but we will continue to look.

    Thanks.

  3. Hi,

thanks for your quick response. There are apps in the market to analyze services, it should be possible. But the dependencies with locale are more interesting for me.

For example. I've a locale plugin for headstes which automaticly starts my HTC Music player. But when I plugout the headphones the music service is still running. Or another example, when I'm at home, I connecting my phone with a service via wlan to have specific features activated, but when I leave home, they are remaining in the service list and listening the activities....

Hope this helps. Thank you anyway.

  4. Can we add this to the Froyo app market too?

  5. It should show up for froyo. Are you running a hacked version of froyo or an official Google build?

    Thanks.

  7. Yes you are correct. Currently we only target 1.6 - 2.1(Cupcake). Do you know of others that would be interested in a back port to 1.5?

  11. Currently we do not support the Froyo version of the Android operating system. This is not by choice, but because Google removed the ability for third-party applications such as this one to properly kill processes. A lot of people have posted and emailed me asking why I can't get this to work with Froyo, since several task killer programs are still working. My only response to them is that I have tried to find a solution, but the only thing I can figure is that the task killer applications are killing apps more frequently or on a timed/scheduled basis. Due to the nature of this plug-in I don't believe anyone wants to kill apps all the time using a Locale plug-in. If you want to do that I am sure Advanced Task Killer is much better at that than this plug-in would be. To make a long story short, until we can find the same functionality that we delivered in the older releases of the Android Operating system we will be forced to only allow 1.6-2.1 versions of the operating system to download and install the application.

Thanks and I am sorry I don't have better news.
